The Memory Care area was created for residents who require additional assistance beyond what Hearthstone Cottage’s standard assisted living can provide.
Memory Care is an excellent option for Ellensburg residents suffering from early stage Alzheimer’s and dementia. Staff is specially trained and on hand 24 hours a day. Each resident wears a pendant alarm allowing free movement throughout the area, but an alarm on the exits alerts staff if a resident crosses the threshold.
This area also provides level appropriate activities and some special diets can be accommodated.
